Yurasov leads for final day of EPT12 Grand Final €10K High Roller
There are 23 players left in contention for the €439,000 first place prize. The 25-year-old has already had several great results in EPT €10k High Rollers including two final table appearances: third at EPT10 Prague for €177,500 and fifth at EPT10 Vienna for €118,650. Yurasov is also well-known online, using the moniker "yurasov1990" on PokerStars. He chopped the Sunday Million for $139k back in 2013 and won the Sunday 500 last year, taking nearly $70k. Yurasov bagged XXX at the end of Day 2 to take the lead.
French-Senegalese player Imad Derwiche had a great time during last year's PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final - he was the runner-up in the €25k High Roller for €750,000. The 47-year-old is now in good shape to collect another big prize here in Monaco - he'll be back for the final day with the second biggest stack - 760,000.
Derwiche is followed by Ike Haxton (744,000), Tom Hall (731,000) and Jean-Noel Thorel (718,000). The bubble burst in level 17 when Philipp Gruissem knocked out David Peters in 32nd place. All remaining players were guaranteed a €18,270 payday.
Among the eight players who have already cashed in the event were Bryn Kenney (25th for €20,340), Sam Chartier (27th for €20,340), Ole Schemion (29th for €18,270) and Daniel Dvoress (30th for €18,270).
There were 214 entries to the EPT12 Grand Final €10k High Roller (164 unique players plus 50 re-entries), creating a €2,075,800 prize pool shared by the top 31 positions.
