In a hand that saw Darryll Fish holding A K to his opponent's T T, Fish was responsible for taking the tournament into the money as he made a diamond flush on the J 5 3 Q 4 board. Martin Bailey was the 82nd-place finisher and everyone remaining was guaranteed a payout.
When the tournament clock finally came to a stop for the night, Harpreet Gill had the most chips, bagging 993,000. Trevor Delaney was not far behind with 968,000. Rainer Kempe rounded out the top three with 840,000.
