As mentioned earlier, Ari Engel is going for his ninth WSOPC Ring, which would tie him with Alexandru Masek on the all-time career leaderboard. Engel is one of the most consistently successful players in poker, with 14 live tournament victories in the past four years. Engel's biggest victory came just two months ago when he won the Aussie Millions Poker Championship for more than $1.1 million.
Jared Jaffee won a WSOP Bracelet in 2014 in $1,500 Mixed-Max No-Limit Hold'em. Jaffee also has a WPT title on his resume, and more than $2.7 million in career live tournament earnings.
Joseph Liberta is going for his third WSOPC Ring, and he final tabled this event last season, finishing eighth.
Joseph Cappello has nearly $1.5 million in career live tournament earnings, and the two biggest victories of his career came right here in Atlantic City.
