2015 WSOP: Alex Lindop Wins Event #59: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em
03.07. |

All eyes were on Jamie Gold when the final table kicked off on Day 3 of Event #59: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em. The 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event winner played good but was eventually knocked out in 5th place. It was his deepest run since his Main Event win.

The tournament originally had three days - but an extra day (Day 4) was required once there were four remaining players. The final day lasted for four hours and saw 25-year-old British poker pro Alex Lindop take home the prestigious gold bracelet and $531,037 first-place prize. It was Lindop's 4th cash at the WSOP and his first final table appearance.
