Still remember the durrrr Challenge? Well, Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates at least does and updated the challenge situation recently in a new interview.
According to Cates he is not sure what will happen to the challenge, but Tom "durrrr" Dwan has said he wants to complete it at some point.
"But he’s busy at the moment with some personal stuff, so I don’t know when.", Cates added.
Their last recorded session was in October 2013, when Cates extended his lead in the challenge to around $1,4 million.
In addition to that, the two had reportedly agreed – in order to get the match finished – that Dwan needs to pay Cates an extra $40,000 for every two months that went by with no action. According to Cates, "Dwan has acknowledged" these penalties.
When asked who are the top online high-stakes players today, Cates had this to say:
"Ben Tollerene is very good at PLO, and sauce123 (Ben Sulsky) has been doing very well lately, too. AndOTB_redbaron is very underrated. His approach to NLHE ring games is probably more correct than pretty much anyone else’s."
