Jason Somerville is the undisputed king of Twitch as far as poker is concerned, and just three days ago the 28 year old PokerStars pro notched up a significant milestone as he racked up the 10,000,000th on his Twitch channel.
Somerville, who began recording his sessions for public consumption back when he was a pro for Ultimate Poker prior to their departure from the New Jersey online poker market, found his niche with Twitch, where he streams up to six hours a day, seven days a week, and soon built up a strong following in the poker community. Not long after he found success with Twitch, Somerville was snapped up by PokerStars and his "Run it UP!" brand has been going from strength to strength, with "Run it UP!" not only being synonymous with his live streaming, but also now putting its name to merchandise and even live series of events!
In a new interview with CardPlayer.com, Somerville talks in more depth about his love of twitch and why he thinks his streams have proven to be the most popular Twitch poker output of all time. He also talks about the demise of Poker on TV and why he thinks he's answered more questions about poker than anyone else in the business!
