Viktor “Isildur1” Blom didn’t play a whole lot during January and February, but during the month of March the Swede logged tens of thousands of hands and is currently in a $370,000 hole on 2016, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB. Roughly $330,000 of those losses came over the past week.
Most of his 50,000 hands this year have come at the eight-game mix on PokerStars. Last year, Blom was the big winner on the site, raking in roughly $3.5 million.
Other poker pros who had poor weeks include Trueteller (-$257,000), CrownUpGuy (-$133,000), fjutekk (-$133,000) and Mike “gordo16” Gorodinsky (-$73,000).
On the flip side, Alex “joiso” Kostritsyn ($484,000), Dan “w00ki3z” Cates ($116,000), Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky ($108,000) and Isaac “philivey2694” Haxton ($63,000) all had winning weeks.
Kostritsyn was the winner of the largest hand of the week, a $117,000 pot at $250-$500 pot-limit Omaha. Blom was on the losing end of the hand.
