Sensational German pro Rainer Kempe has followed up back-to-back EPT final tables by winning yesterday’s €25k One-Day High Roller here in Prague.

The 26-year-old, who hails from Berlin but currently lives in the English seaside resort of Brighton, beat French veteran Jean-Noel Thorel heads-up to snag last night’s title, trophy and €539,000 first prize.

Not only was this season's €1,100 Eureka Prague Main Event the biggest in the tour's history, but yesterday's final table was also one of the fastest.

Less than five hours after taking his seat, Spanish player Javier Rojas beat Martin Staszko heads-up to become the new Eureka Prague Main Event champion.

In front of him were some 48 million chips - representing the hopes and dreams of 1,892 other players who competed in the €1,100 tournament - and waiting in the wings was a giant cheque for €311,000, a life-changing prize for the 23-year-old from Tenerife.

He was leading at the end of Day 1, but more importantly, Luuk Gieles has maintained the lead for a second night and now has the biggest stack going in to the final table of the €50k Super High Roller here at EPT12 Prague.

With eight places paid, all the finalists are now in the money and guaranteed at least €107,550. It was also Urbanovich who sealed the final table by knocking out bubble boy Anthony Zinno in ninth place.

EPT12 Malta Single-Day €10k High Roller champ Steve O'Dwyer is still in contention for the €806,650 first prize, along with Sam Greenwood, Igor Kurganov, Thomas Muehloecker, Daniel Dvoress and EPT12 Barcelona winner John Juanda.

There were 56 entries in all (46 unique players plus 10 re-entries), five up on last year's entries and creating a €2,688,840 prize pool.

He bagged 1,025,000 after today's eight levels to top the 50-entry field (42 unique players + 8 re-entries).

Its online poker players may be striking and its shares may be tumbling, but Amaya Gaming can at least celebrate Danish gambling authority Spillemyndigheden granting them a trial one-year sports betting license this week.

As a result, residents of Denmark will have the option of sports betting within their PokerStars account through the course of 2016 and potentially beyond, as Amaya’s management staff have indicated they will be making a push for a full five-year license if the trial period goes to plan.

After 212 hands of poker it was Spain's Javier Gomez who took down the World Poker Tour Prague title for €175,000 and the $15,400 WPT Tournament of Champions seat. Gomez beat Moldova's Pavel Plesuv heads up after a four-hour battle that lasted for 138 hands, while play from six down to heads up took only 74 hands.

Businessman, actor and self-proclaimed poker player Dan Bilzerian, who currently has over 14 million followers on Instagram, has teamed up with PixelBay Studios to create a video game featuring the playboy himself.

According to PixelBay Studios, 'Blitz Poker' is coming to Android and iOS soon, and promises not only poker, but a 'Dan Bilzerian lifestyle simulator'.'
