Pires Maintains Lead for Day 4 of PCA 2016 Main Event

12.01. | He's been playing poker recreationally for nearly 30 years but Brazilian Leonardo Pires is now enjoying the spotlight more than ever. The 46-year-old from Minas Gerais has maintained the chip lead in the $5,300 PCA 2016 Main Event two nights in a row and goes in to Day 4 with 2,095,000.

11.01. | Leonardo Pires is leading the $5,300 PCA 2016 Main Event in to Day 3. The 46-year-old Brazilian bagged 524,000 to top all 195 survivors. Pires came to the PCA from Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, where he won his Main Event ticket in a local poker tour.

Jaffe Takes Day 1B Lead in the PCA Main Event

10.01. | American pro Jonathan "Iftarii" Jaffe built the biggest stack on Day 1b of the $5,300 PCA 2016 Main Event, bagging 164,000. The 28-year-old from Massachussetts is more than $870k in profit online on PokerStars, where he won two WCOOP titles. After black Friday, he relocated to Montreal, Canada to continue grinding online, sharing home with one of the 2015 starlight Nick Petrangelo.

Bryn Kenney Triumphs in the PCA $100K Super High Roller
