Moradi Leads EPT Prague at the End of Day 2

14.12. | Only a few players from Iran have cashed in the EPT Main Event before but Abbas Moradi has not only cashed, he's now coming back for Day 4 of the EPT12 Prague Main Event as chip leader with 1,384,000. Originally from Iran's capital Tehran, the 50-year-old also has a Canadian passport.

Tremzin Takes the Lead at the End of EPT Prague Day 2

13.12. | Russian poker pro Gleb Tremzin is chip leader going into Day 3 of the €5,300 EPT12 Prague Main Event with 610,500 in chips. There have already been three Russian EPT champions and Tremzin is aiming to become the fourth; the last was Andrey Pateychuk who won EPT Sanremo back in Season 8.

Chartier Leads for Day 2 of the EPT Prague Main Event

12.12. | When the EPT Prague Main Event tournament clock restarted at noon, it was Canadian Sam Chartier who had the pleasure of layout the biggest chip stack. He bagged 211,500 yesterday to seize the lead for Day 2. The 30-year-old from French-speaking Montreal has been an EPT regular for years and has already cashed in nine Main Events so far.

O'Dwyer Takes Down EPT Prague €50K Super High Roller

11.12. | Steve O'Dwyer has done it again! The 33-year-old Irishman yesterday took down yet another major poker tournament, winning the EPT12 Prague €50k Super High Roller for €746,543. His triumph here in the Czech Republic makes him the EPT's first double Super High Roller champion after he kicked off 2015 by winning the PCA $100k in the Bahamas for $1,872,580.

Persson Leads Final Table of Eureka 5 Prague Main Event

10.12. | The final table of the record-breaking Eureka 5 Prague Main Event is set with Sweden's Simon Persson leading the eight finalists. The 33-year-old has been on the scene since 2008 and his biggest success to date came when he was runner-up at the Master Classics of Poker two years ago for nearly €183k. However, there's a €311,000 first prize awaiting the Eureka Main Event champion and, with 12,565,000 in chips, Persson is in good shape as the final table leader.

Tamasauskas Leads For Eureka 5 Prague Main Event Day 3

09.12. | Out of 1,893 Eureka 5 Prague Main Event players, only 26 (or 1.4%) arrived from Lithuania. Yet, two of them soared up at the end of Day 2 as Vladas Tamauskas and Rytis Praninskas took the lead tonight.
